Project Background Brief:
Multi-site, supply and installation of Floor Standing Powercharge BP Chargemaster Electric Vehicle Charging solutions to offer a Public Sector client workplace charging solutions and charging ‘on the go’ solutions.
Particular Challenges:
The Council buildings and sites were all fully in-use and so were the car parks, so segregated working was essential and ensuring clear signage to warn the Council Staff and Public. Civils and Groundworks were also part of the project; these were completed by sub-contractor under our Management, so establishing a proactive working programme and ensuring effective communication was vital.
Special Project Features:
We carefully liaised with the client to design and supply the most appropriate solution to meet their requirements. After thorough planning and liaison, we offered products with two universal ‘type 2 socket’ outlets providing state of the art mode 3 charging compatible with most electric vehicles available today and in the future, using 7kW (30A) versions powered by a single-phase 230 volt AC electrical supply. The client is passionate about the local supply chain and benefiting the local economy, so we utilised a local supply chain partner who manufactures and supplies locally to the client within GB.
