LED Lighting at Highdown Garden Centre

Project Background Brief:
Powerplus Group, a leading provider of innovative LED lighting solutions and electrical services, was approached by Bridge Greenhouses to upgrade the lighting system at Highdown Garden Centre in West Sussex. The goal was to improve the customer experience, reduce energy costs, and give the business a fresh look.
The Powerplus team worked closely with Highdown Garden Centre to design and implement a lighting solution that met all of their needs. The new system features LED lighting throughout the garden centre, including in the retail areas, greenhouses, and outdoor spaces. LED lighting is known for its energy efficiency, long lifespan, and superior light quality.

Particular Challenges:
One of the biggest challenges facing the Powerplus team was working at height in a limited space. The garden centre was open for business during the installation, so the team had to be careful to minimize disruption and ensure public safety. They worked with the client to create a detailed timetable and to implement safety measures such as cordoning off work areas and using signage to direct customers.
Despite the challenges, the Powerplus team successfully completed the installation on time and within budget. The new lighting system has transformed Highdown Garden Centre, creating a brighter and more inviting space for customers. It has also resulted in significant energy savings, which will help the business to reduce its operating costs.
